
The environment above was created using the CGI software “Houdini”, its a procedural generation software that i chose to use as it allows for specific algorithms to be applied. The algorithm used to create the curveambient space is Perlin Noise. this algorithm is used to smoothen out outliers in noise or data. Using perlin noise in a generated enviroment always us apply feng-shui esque principals of psycho-geography. My original intention was to create this space for the use of Virtual reality but unfortunately I did not have enough time to integrate the vr kit successfully. I chose to proceed with the intervention by printing out stills of the renders included above and asking people:
